Oh fun… a narcissistic unicorn. Nothing like character flaws to hammer out, in a subtly disguised way.

I must say, the artwork in this strip is sublime.

I’m with Susan. Why in heaven’s name would you have a “silly” name for a comic strip? I mean, if I want a silly title I’ll listen to some Frank Zappa songs. But I come here for comics — and everyone knows that silliness and comics just DO NOT MIX! I am now accepting applications to the “No Silliness or Absurdity or Ridiculousness or Puns or Slapstick or Wordplay in Comics.” Who will join? The revolution starts today!

@Susan Newman
copied from the comic info just to the left of the strip …… “and using it to make the unicorn, Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, her obligational best friend. But can a vain mythical beast and a nine-year-old daydreamer really forge a connection?”
as for why you can’t enlarge it .. no clue sorry.

I’d like it if the strip were enlargeable! I am told that enlargeability for independent contract strips like this one is in the works, but my primary tech contact doesn’t have an ETA on that.

I’m guessing that a) the strip will get sillier as we go along and b) since Sundays appear to be the same thing but larger, the syndicate thought enlarging the dailies was unnecessary.

It does look better than some of the other new comics theyve been adding. @Joe Celko, funny that you mentioned Crockett Johnson, because his style came to my mind when I saw this comic!

As a Brony myself, I ask: “So what?” (Also, let me state for the record that I became a fan of Dana and her work long before I became a Brony; so the fact that this comic has a Unicorn in it is a plus, but it’s not the only reason that I’m reading it.)

Haters gonna hate, and likers gonna like.
And like Hugh Laurie, I’m a good-ass mother-liker.

At present, whether or not you can zoom a comic on gocomics.com is a question of whether the syndicate or the artist owns the strip. (The question has come up before.)
