Phoebe needs to grow up and be a bit more mature here. I would highly recommend that she follow the example of Voltaire.

Dana, I just want to say – this strip is absolutely wonderful. It’s a breath of fresh air and boasts a funny and imaginative twist on unicorns while preserving the unicorn “mystique”. I congratulate you on its conception, and I fully expect it to become a huge hit. And oh, forget the comparisons some are making to “Calvin and Hobbes” and what have you. Children who have magical or imaginary companions is a concept that’s been around for eons. It’s nice to see a new and funny version of it in the otherwise-staid and stale syndicated strip form. Count me as a faithful reader. Kudos!

I love the “appalled hair” and “sticky lines”!

I really like Marigold’s look overall; especially her mane and the hair around her feet!

I rather found having a large vocabulary to be quite useful when I was a kid.

“Dad, what’s pecuniary overkill?”

“Uhhh, here…go get some ice cream.”

So far I am loving this comic. But I was sad she didn’t show up for show and tell for Phoebe. :(
