Marigold: Todd invited us to his Halloween party. Phoebe: Hrm. There WOULD be a lot of candy... Marigold: But? Phoebe: But it's weird that he basically barfs up candy. Marigold: He BREATHES candy. Phoebe: I never realized how thin that line was.
There’s a science fiction story in which somebody bio-engineered some disgusting-looking bugs to chew up various useless organic substances and produce a nutritious paste — flavorless, but flavors could be added.
One of the characters is offered a sample, and AFTER tasting it is told how it was made. His reaction was: “Bug vomit. You fed me bug vomit.”
