40 years ago, I swore a solemn vow and promise to myself that I would not take up painting–especially oil or acrylics. I’d walked through a mall exhibiting the work of a local recreation or senior center. The paintings were unbelievably bad; and I decided that something that could impair the perpetrator’s judgment to that extent was to be strictly avoided.
I haven’t taken up painting. However, I do take a lot of photographs…
