Whoever came up with that stupid saying probably was never married (or was recently divorced). Anyway, I don’t have a lawn mower - what does that mean for my wife?

I’m sure many of us do, lurch, we just don’t talk about it. It further takes away from the subject at hand, which is the comic.

My mother had an old saying that a lost opal always returns…and it has always proven true for us…so don’t try to get rid of Opal, Earl!! (^_^)

Opal, why does Earl need to buy a brand new lawn mower for? What was wrong with the old one?

Yeah, that’s a pretty stupid saying. My wife gets way more attention than my lawn mower.

I’ve dumped my lawnmower in the basement and now pay someone to do the job for me. Nothing suggestive about that, is there?

I’ve got a nice riding mower parked under the carport. Been sitting there for about 7-8 years. I’ve reached the point that I have the money to pay someone else to do the job but not many years left (76) to waste my time doing it!
