@ Liewellenbruce - the dictionary I looked it up in was an older craft & dictionary combined. The first definition was instructions on what to do with your cotta. Take a cotta in both hands and terra it into two pieces down the middle.
The other was from OLD England. If you come across one whose eye are a glassy stare, their has suddenly turned snow white and had gone walking in the forrest during the dark of the moon and had been chased by an unknown spirit the let it be known that they suffer from the malady known as the COTTA TERRA.
