This is one of those ocassions that inflection means alot.How he said it really matters, and I choose to think that he was clearly kidding, in a self deprecating way.
We may joke about it, but on the inside each one of us is still a teenager full of vim and vinegar. And then we catch a surprise glimpse of ourselves reflected in a store window…. Reality is a harsh mistress.
He needs to be a bit more realistic with his goals. My plans are to grow old kicking and screaming, in a distinguished sort of way. So far I am successful on all fronts.
