We’re not talking Coor’s Lite here. We are talking Fresh beer or Stout ( preferable because of the iron and vitamin content ) and we are talking about nutrition not getting a animal intoxicated.
Had a dog that loved beer. Never gave him much just a tiny bit after I caught him lapping it out of a pint glass. This dog also relished gum stuck to the undersides of public benches.

From a training standpoint, this is very true. Once you let them get away with stealing off the table etc they think it’s OK every time.
