My wife continually changes her hair style with the times. (Worst: the “Harpo Marx phase”), and justifies it with “Well, I like it!”I counter with, “Because you don’t have to look at it”.
No doubt Nelson imagines his gramma as a girl just the way she looks now, only smaller. It’s not bad manners — it’s just being a kid..My great-uncle had a big nose with red veins in it, and I when I was 4 years old I remarked he looked like Jimmy Durante. He did not take that in the spirit offered. Well, I LIKED Jimmy Durante!

Seems the short curly is the style of choice for older women. They wear it almost exclusively. Either that or flat and veryvery short. Very few older women style their hair anymore.I guess that’s all right, but it sure makes them all look the same, in a crowd. An older lady (which I am) sure looks nice when she takes the time to do her hair. Each to their own. I do mine.
