I sympathize with Opal. I can’t get my man to dress up for ANYTHING. He went to our g-daughter’s wedding in a polo shirt. When my sister died it had been so long since he’d gotten “dressed” he’d forgotten how to do his necktie. I do love him, though. At least, he’s always at my side. And on my side.

Opal, forget telling Earl. He neither wants or needs to know. Show them to your friends.

Same old blouse for Opal…

1 pair of dress shoes: a pair of spike heeled sandals for formal wear, a pair of pretty pumps for semi-formal (both in black) and a pair of dressy flat sandals for day wear. This is minimum, more are needed if color matters.

When you’re still dumpy looking from the ankle to the top of your head…shoes will not make much difference.(yeah..I know)

Your shoes gave to look good with the outfit you are wearing.

I’m an Earl-ite.The best tailored clothes and best shoes in the world just ain’t a gonna improve this image enough to worry about.So I don’t worry about it.(and avoid mirrors)
