If you’re going to lie about your age, add a few years, so people will think you look really good for an older person, instead of dreadful for a younger one.
I usually get asked what is my birthdate, not if it is still _____. Don’t really mind it for those large medical facilities, especially if someone else with the same name is also a patient.
However, this should remind us to be careful when sharing information. Had a scammer call me, wanting to know my BD, because of a bill from a local large medical provider. I called the number on my bill, and they said that yes, they would need my BD to release info, but they hadn’t called me. Glad I was careful!
I’ve often had people think I was younger than I am… and I once had a co-worker who I was sure was older than me, that I later found out was 5 years younger.
Pharmacists do ask people’s birthday, and need to. There can be multiple people with the same name, but different birth dates and they need to make sure they give the right prescription to the right person. This is definitely amusing, just like making jokes about hijacking planes at the airport. These people are just trying to do their jobs.
the pharmacist always asks me…“Are you still at 1234 Main Street?” to which I usually answer…“No, the house is still there but I’m right here!” it usually gets a laugh.

Good come back. Unfortunately, the question does get asked, and in all seriousness.

Health care doesn’t just need to be reformed, it needs to be rehabilitated.

I’ve been asked for my birthday many times, but never “is Oct 2 STILL your birthday?”. I like Pearl’s answer, and my pharmacist would be very amused.

Pharmacists can be so judgemental. They don’t actually say anything but it’s the way they look at you.

She is a deep thinker.
We need to figure out how to reset our biological clocks.
If we can do that, we won’t need to go to the pharmacy as often.
