Is it Earl who doesn’t want hair on gramma’s chest or is it gramma who doesn’t want hair on her chest?

Earl had me at twigs as one of the ingredients. No thanks.

That’s an expression my father used to say “Eat it, it will put hair on your chest”!

When I was growing up, our Dad used to tell us to eat ________ (fill in the blank with something we didn’t want to eat) because it would “put hair on your chest.” It never occurred to us to ask him why, if that was so, was his chest as smooth as a baby’s butt even though he ate it all the time?

When my mother was a little girl, her father told her to “Eat your carrots! It’ll put hair on your chest.” It was years before my mom ate carrots again.

As men get older their hair migrates from their heads to their backs. I believe this is due to the increasing effects of gravity.

We were on a road trip and pulled over for my mom to get a coffee at a little cafe. As she got back in the car she commented on the coffee ‘If nothing else, this will put hair on your chest’.
