I’ve always considered myself a Plugger. As soon as I’m done posting this, I’m looking up “compos mentis”

And immediately after checking the obits to make sure he is still alive.

Doing the crossword every day is good for the mind! Keeps your brain working which is good for older people!

How come when they refer to me it’s non-compos mentis

I am more impressed that he can hold the paper up in the air and fill in a puzzle with a PENCIL! Now, that’s an impressive skill! And yes, I had to google compos mentis. I think I am semi-compos mentis these days.

Being compos mentis is overrated.

I thought “compos” was a stack of manure……..

Many Pluggers would understand compos mentis: but some would incorrectly assume the description applied to them.

One of these days I’M going to be compos mentis,. ..if I remember to do that.

Did you know if you compost Mentos with Coke, it will explode?

When I can no longer count on finishing the NY TImes Sunday crossword puzzle, it will be time to start giving away all my possessions and asking several different doctors for sleeping pills.

(Sorry that that is a bit of a downer, but I take the care and feeding of my mind very seriously.)
