I would’ve suspected cassette player Walkman.
@TEMPLO S.U.D.Good point. And a cassette player would be less sensitive to movement, too.
CD’s you get those at banks right
Actually, as an owner of the device, that looks to be one of those new-fangled CD playin’ Sony Discman. The Walkman played cassettes and was usually more of a rectangle.
I forsee a followup strip: If you know the difference between a Discman and a Walkman, you’re a plugger.
Still have a Walkman in the glove box of my van. Used to go to the beach more often than now. it needs new batteries. It ain’t alone.
A pocket sized 6 transistor AM radio if you’re a real Plugger.
That’s a DiscMan he’s wearing, a Walkman was a cassette player. And real pluggers sing their favorite songs, never mind that electronic junk.
I have a converter for my Discman that I can put in the cassette player for my ’95 Corolla so there. I can also use it for my I POd Shuffle even !!
I have a Brunswick phonograph… with a crank on the side!I suppose I could mount some wheels on it so I could push or pull it with me as I “walk”.Eh?
