yeah, buddy, I just got my Golden Age Passport which gets me into national parks for free, love the free coffee at McD’s and all the discounts at the Goodwill store, the next fishing license I purchase will only cost one dollar.
I am almost 60 and have been looking at all the different places that offer discounts to see what age they start! Some start as young as 55. Like IHOP!! Can’t wait for my Golden Age Passport. We use my mom’s when she and I travel. I want to be able to use my own when my family and I travel.

Although my wife and I are the same age (seniors), she started graying when she was in her late 20s, and is all white now. I on the other hand have a grey beard, which I shave off if we are going out, the full head of hair on the top of my head has only a few wisps of grey.
Not long ago, we went to a local Legion Club for dinner, and they were having a fund raising steak fry, so we bought tickets and sat down. One of the “volunteers” approached me and asked me what I wanted to drink, and then asked what my “mom” wanted.
You know the comic scene where smoke is billowing from the ears? Yup… pretty much what happened!

I do like the senior discount, but it did sort of ruin my day the first time I got it without having to ask for it.

A BK actually gave my dad a senior discount. Even though he was only 50 at the time.
