The tips of my neckties are either over the belt buckle or just barely touching it (I’m not as big as that rhinoceros plugger there).

I never could find ties long enough. Due to height. Glad I didn’t have to wear one very often.

Should have added “Horizontally”.

When tying a tie it is important to have a consistent method of measuring the length of the blade before tying the knot.Some days I have shrinkage and the tip of the blade is above my belt. Other days it is below.

Not if you tie it right.

Neck ties had to have been invented by women, so self respecting guy would do that to us. I call them nooses, “No noose is good Noose”.

When I was girthsome like this plugger (I lost 100 pounds about 8 years ago), I had to tie my ties in such a way that inside length often ended up ending only about 2-3 below the knot. This allowed the front length to extend down to nearly the belt buckle. I sometimes had to tape the inside length to the back of the front length to keep it from poking out. Now, at a lower weight, most of my ties fit normally.

Though harder to find, there is such a thing as a “tall” man’s tie (which works for us portly gents as well).

Or tucked inside his pants, if he is thin.

Mine are a lot further away that that!

My neckties rarely leave the closet…
