Well, I must have been born a plugger! We live way back of beyond, and there is a flashlight beside the kitchen door, and a kerosene lantern in all of the main rooms. Fortunately, we cook with gas, and have a fireplace. Camped out in the living room more than once.

I did that with a flashlight. It was impossible to find when the power went out in a storm. Not the best idea I’ve had.

This is why I have multiple copies of my family’s birth certificates. I couldn’t remember where I put the first set and had to order more!
