    Why even try “the twist” old man? In doing so, you risk injuring your hips again and facing additional surgery.D

    Helping an old (and I mean old) friend onto the dock after he negotiated the water-ski slalom course, I asked, " Isn’t this too soon after your hip replacement?" He replied, “Ask my surgeon, he’s in the boat.”

    A woman I know has had two double replacements. The first set, in the ’80s took her a year to recover from; the second set, 3 years ago, she walked out of the hospital in four days!
