as much I too learned cursive penmanship, who thinks it’s becoming a dying art? (hey, even computers can come with cursive-looking fonts)

Cursive is coming back in some schools. How else can children read grandmother’s sweet notes.

Only if you use a fountain pen that fills from a bottle. None of those newfangled cartridge thingies.

What makes me “hurt”, is not as much the “hand-print”-text, as it is the fact that most—though, not all—of today’s graduates, of whatever-learning institutes? They still can’t grasp the need of a real, legal-eagle, SIGNATURE of their-names! Why, that’s one of the true-signs of a person’s-individuality, that’s disappearing more each-day!

    Anyone can PRINT-your name—but, only YOU-can literally-sign it, correctly, “in-code” of cursive.

Yeah, mine looks like a birds-nest, too: But, by-golly, it’s MY-nest, an’ ain’t no-body can “build” another one like it…!

I learned to write cursive and could do it fluently but illegibly. I needed to turn to semi-printing to get readable handwriting.
