    I know of a household locally that still uses one of those round, upright wringer washers. We used to have one when I was young (sigh … I turn 77 this week.)

    I have many white items, and many light colored items. I always sort my laundry. Many items looks like they are new even though they might be 20, 30, or 40 years old. I don’t know any Pluggers who do not sort their laundry, though I imagine there are some, judging by the look of their clothes.

    The new elastic and synthetic blends makes the undies look passable long after the cotton is gone.

    On news, people throw clothes away now, after only 2 or 3 wearings and only 1 % get recycled bc what they are now made out of…even donated get tossed
