Don’t Pluggers generally drive cars that CAN whose problems can be diagnosed and repaired without fancy-schmancy computer equipment? ;D

If it is the oil pump, then he’s got some serious problems with that heap. Now the engine is probably seized up.

If he had a Dodge pickup, it would be one of the Unholy Trinity – the starter, the voltage regulator or the alternator. On every Chrysler vehicle I ever owned, one of those three would fail. So I’d replace the failed part, but by that point, it’s failure would have stressed one of the others, which would then fail within a couple of months, while stressing the other two components, and around and around and around…

Real pluggers actually maintain their vehicles on a regular basis. They also know how to and CAN change a flat.

We dropped AAA after they refused to come out and jump-start my van. Apparently all vans are RVs, I don’t know who’s going to break it to Amazon, Fedex and UPS.
