Used to regularly have a toothpick in my mouth but not anymore. Like so many products today the quality has gone down. They’re probably victims of the poor quality of timber coming in today. Ever try to find straight 2×4′s?
I’m sure there must be good honest people with toothpicks in their mouths, but my personal experience is the toothpick is a sign of a “good ole boy” who will screw you over in a heartbeat; may even be a KKK member if you know what I mean. I see a toothpick and I’m out of there because I am tired of the life of beatings I have received from them.
Knew someone who chewed on toothpicks and ended up having surgery to remove slivers of wood from their insides…yikes! That was about 40 years ago and I haven’t put one in my mouth since.

Not unless you have a pocket knife that comes with a sliver of plastic that acts as a toothpick.

That’s the difference between a country plugger and a suburban plugger, country pluggers use a stalk of hay.
