Man, those vacuum-sealed jars sure are tricky.
When my mother asks for a bottle of water, I always loosen the cap because I know she’d have a hard time opening it.;D
We have a granddaughter that lives with us, she brings them to me
A short time under some running hot water helps loosen those pesky vacuum sealed lids so they’re much easier to open.
Just tap the lid on the floor and it will come right off. I’ve also tapped the edge of the lid on the counter, that works too.
that and lawn care……….
Turn upside down, a quick hard smack on the bottom with the fleshy pat of your balled up fist. Works every time
A spoon under the lid will pop the top and it will be easier.
I lost the ability to open the tough jars years ago due to loss of hand strength from being a Plugger. My late wife would always ask me to try, I always attempted and then reached for the “cheater” in the drawer. That never failed me.
A wide rubber band around the lid (or one of those flat rubber jar openers) works wonders.
A plugger knows to give it a couple of whacks with a knife handle.
Got one of these, Ez Off Jar Opener. Made in the U.S.A and easy to install and use.
Grandchild? She’s a chicken, and he’s a dog.
Always use a cheater !
This is so me! Before the grandson got big enough it was the son-in-law.
