She probably bought a giant pack of sticky notes at Costco or Sam’s 15 years ago because she just couldn’t pass up a bargain, but now they’re just “notes.”
I bought a package of Post-it Extreme. Water resistant, and glue that doesn’t quit. I’ve had one stuck to the dashboard of my truck since early last summer, so it has lasted through -5° F to well over 100° F. They work well in my shop, too, where they’re exposed to solvents and oils.
Saw a car the other day where someone had taken hundreds of sticky notes and placed them all over the car. That car shed those sticky notes as it went down the street leaving a trail of brightly colored debris on the side of the road.
As husbands dementia gets worse, I am leaving notes all over the house. “Don’t let the dog out this door…Don’t change the temp…” Next one needs to be don’t eat all the ice cream before I have had any…
I take the no longer needed print outs or the extra page when printing a job, fold them twice, then cut into note sheets. Good for shopping lists, to do reminders and such.
Sticky notes work quite well in an hermetically sealed, breeze-free environment. I have the reason for that written down but when I opened the window it blew away.

Using “Gorilla Tape” is certainly overkill.

Redundancy, a good concept in engineering.

That’s ‘cause they aren’t as sticky as they used to be. Cut back on the stick’m to keep the price increase down.

Every guy who has ever secured anything on a truck or trailer has given the rope or straps a pluck and said “That’s not going anywhere.”

Tacky dots – stick to almost anything and doesn’t leave a residue.
