Poncho you need a master who does not have cats or it is time for another road-trip ! Stel Bel great poster yesterday, although I must admit that it looked a little like the late great Ultimate Warrior, may his soul rest in peace.
(Yesterday, I was standing in my front yard, inspecting a 12" diameter hole that mysteriously appeared. With no warning, the ground opened up and swallowed my left leg up to my thigh! Result: I sprained my notsogoodanyway right knee, right thumb and right shoulder!
Although I can still be at the computer, it gets uncomfortable after a while, so for the next few days, I won’t be doing a lot of work on pictures. If anything, they’ll be quick ones, like today’s.)
StelBel – what rotten luck! Hope you mend quickly. If there’s no mound around the hole it could have been caused by a skunk or raccoon. If a mound is present, the likely culprit is a beaver. Call me crazy, but I don’t think beaver are in the habit of strolling around your neighbourhood. Then there’s the possibility of a sinkhole – keep an eye on your house. Just kidding:) Feel better soon.
Thanks for your good wishes! We have had a mole problem in the neighborhood, so I think the problem might be related to that. That’s better than a sinkhole, I think. It’s an old house (235 years), so I prefer to think that if it’s been standing that long, then it should be stable. But, I may contact the local university to see what they would recommend.
Good night, everyone! Sweet dreams!
(JP Steve: I sprained the same thumb that I hurt 2 yrs. ago when I fell flat on my face on the sidewalk. It’s bothered me since then. Maybe this time, I injured it enough so it will go back to normal! LOL)
StelBel, I loved your “perfumes” Any would keep him in the cafe. Really sorry to hear your accident. If you were in Florida, I’d say a sinkhole, but up there more likely a mole. We have them here too as if sinkholes aren’t enough to worry about! Heal quickly!
