cats’ll be cats, dogs’ll be dogs

When my dogs have a toy with a squeaker, they will not rest until they have dug it out – and then the fun is over, of course.

Today I was at Goodwill and I picked up that hugging monkeys toy, with the velcro. everyone was saying how cute it was, I didn’t have the heart to say it was for my dogs. But they love those monkeys!

My cats hate squeaky toys. They prefer the one that crunch like crumbling up a paper bag. When my parents had dogs, they di what DennisinSeattle said. Dug out the squeaker then ignored the toy.

The difference between cats and dogs. Just like when they eat. Cats are quiet and dogs are, well, dogs.

When PBS played “Bleak House,” our dachshund Angel would always bring a toy to watch it with me. Apparently she thought it was “Squeak House.”

Our grandoggie has PeppaPig who grunts like a pig. Unfortunately she has taken a romantic interest in PeppaPig. (if you know what I mean).
