Question, Pooch Cafe`ers,If you could go back in time and only be allowed to make a single statement/remark/advice to your younger self, what would it be?

A bit of an OT comment—I just noticed a “new” comic (began March 7th): https://www.gocomics.com/mtpleasant/2021/03/07 A couple of city kids and their cat go to live with their rural grandparents. Talking animals (and even people), reasonably friendly tone, and some zaniness. (Yes, I am doing this on various comics. You’re welcome!)

Have some self-respect, for heaven’s sake! You’re not a doormat.
