In all my years in school I only remember one kid falling asleep in class: a girl in a high school English class. When the class was over (it was a fairly small room and we were all seated around one big table), and it was noticed she was obviously asleep, everyone, including the teacher, quietly got up and left the room. I have no idea how long it as before she woke up.
The boy in front of me in driver’s ed class was sound asleep. I was intently reading a book and didn’t notice the teacher walk up in front of him and drop the metal trash can. I jumped and the boy just slowly raised his head and said “huh?”
