My father would never let us to to Saturday evening Mass. For him, Saturday was for relaxation & fun…Sunday was for Mass (specifically noon Mass). What was sad was that I wanted to join the church choir but they only sang during Saturday evening Mass, so it was a no-go. Now, I’m a member of my current church’s Worship Team so I get to sing – AND play tambourine – every Sunday morning, & we’re home by noon!
