I had a friend who went to a Catholic boys’ high school. Unfortunately, his parents had to take him out & put him in public school. The HS didn’t count his credits for religious instructions so he was short credits to graduate. I started a petition to reverse this decision. Those classes were mandatory so he had no choice to take them; those credits should have counted. While I did get a crapload of signatures (I graduated in a class of almost 1000 students), of course it was denied.
