Pence may be worse, no guess he couldn’t be, but he may try to make this country into a Theocracy, out law all religion, make Protestant the only religion, impose his ideas of values are, which for the most part are prejudices. He will also be such a welcome change that the Republicans will do any and everything he says to do.
No, I don’t think Pence is worse. I think he’s wrong about almost everything, but he’s not an insane bull in a china shop, just destroying everything he touches. I’d take George W. Bush in a heartbeat, too, and I hated him as President.
If the president and vice president were those who received the highest and next highest EC (or ideally popular) vote, we would be looking at a more desirable outcome, if the president quit or was removed. The problem in Congress would remain as long as the members have no respect for each other or We the People best expressed by this Air Force General yesterday …
Seems to me that Pence is more likely to try to work with the Republican establishment in Congress than Trump has. However, given the splits in the Republican party, I’d look for a possibility that the few moderates remaining would tend to try to work with the Democrats more than with the Freedom Caucus, particularly on questions involving religion and personal morality.
Pence will do anything Pat Robertson tells him to. But, he might not get us nuked by North Korea. On the other hand, look at the percentage of poverty jobs in Indiana.
As long as Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi are not president. I don;t like Trump but if it came down to an election between Hillary and Satan, I would have to pick the lesser of two evils and vote for Satan.
