The comic Stantis drew for Smerconish today was right on. I’m Independent but lean greatly toward Dems of late, which for reasons I won’t go into. But Stantis asked the question to a Democrat “Are Democrats out of sync” and the reply was right on. Took the Democrat forever to reply
AND that is our problem.

You gotta wonder if Stantis, like the magats, has heard about Trump’s pardons of 1589 violent felons and the worlds biggest drug kingpin.

His ghost cartoonist hasn’t either, evidently.

Check out the commentary today by Freda Finkle, concerning the harm being done to Virgina children by the over saturation of Kazoos in the state.

God, grant me the serenity to accept that TDS is incurable, the courage to keep on winning, and the wisdom to skip the comments section of Prickly City.

“When (then President) Barack Obama expressed that he intended to ‘Fundamentally Transform America’, he had nothing in mind like the fundamental shake-up that Donald Trump is doing to government today. The amusing thing is that Obama had eight years to get the job done with the full and loving support of our leftist media, and Trump has about finished the job in just the first 30 days of his second term with the full, lying, and vicious opposition of the leftist press.” – Dave King 2/22/25

Read The Anatomy of Fascism by Robert O. Paxton. We are already there. Unfortunately, Paxton’s thorough analysis of fascism reads as a blueprint as to how to go about it. Reading the book is like reading the history of US politics over the past few decades with just a change the names. Horrifying.

Is gas under $2/gal yet like Trump promised he would do before the election? This question has nothing to do with Biden and only with the actual words that Trump said when Trump made the promise.

It’s a yes or no question. I have to explain the type of question it is because some people don’t understand the word YET. And the only answer that is required to a yes or no question is “Yes” or “No.”

Let’s see if you can read.

A general fear of mine with April closing in on us:

Will Go Comics screw up their page as bad as Comics Kingdom?

Item one: Only paid subscribers get to comment. Period. (I suppose that’s another reason there are so many comments here) (besides GC shutting down comments on the editorial pages)

Item two: Limiting non-paying subscribers to viewing only one or two strips per month. Heck, I’ve been locked out of viewing CK comics for so long now, I no longer bother to look there – I go to the artists’ substack, instead.

Item three: I wouldn’t mind paying if I had any clue that the artists – the reasons we come here – were being paid. Because, if they were being paid, then why do they all need Patreon pages?
