Congress seems to be allowing an unelected bureaucrat to remove their Constitutional authority to determine spending without a whimper. Chickens aren’t even that chicken.

THEY want a work requirement for medicaid recipients. Are they going to find meaningful jobs for the people trying to meet these requirements? THEY will pass a four trillion dollar tax cut so billionaires can go to Italy and buy a third yacht to go with their other two. THEY want to fire thousands of IRS accountants so that billionaires can get away without paying any taxes at all. THEY want retirees to go hungry and homeless because THEY think working class people have no right to stop working. THEY want twelve and fourteen kids to go to work in factories because then there would be no need for public schools. And THEY complain that WE are not being civil.

Yeah, there’s only a shortage of eggs, not chickens. They do a lot of clucking and crowing but don’t accomplish much.
