The use of a compass and a clock does not apply to Democrats since Democrats do not seem to have any sense of direction nor the ability to comprehend time.
In December, Trump said he would end DST because it was inconvenient and costly. At no point before he sprung it on us did he say anything about renaming the Gulf of Mexico, among other things. Smoke and mirrors, combined with a bipolar mood swing of imagined priorities.
Waiting for antisemitic troll NCORGBI to weigh in. It lies, can’t back up it’s false claims, and projects its own flaws onto others. Worse than than Sun, RobinHood, or Moron Lube.
Senate and Congress are too focused on putting their own parties in power over the needs of the people. I’d suggest each seat holds a Republican and Democrat seat for them and the Supreme Court justices, but I can also see how that would backfire immensely…
Read in todays Saskatchewan Skuttlebutt a commentary the everyone should abandon EVs because the DOGE guy is no longer the hero of the left. And that they don’t burn enough Canadian gas. Skuttlebutt a commentary by a person known as DD. He says everyone should abandon EVs because the DOGE guy is no longer the hero of the left. And that the EVs don’t burn enough Canadian gas.
Tariffs. Yes definitely. Wait no. Ok yes. Now some. None on you though. Million percent on dairy! Taking a baseball bat to various federal agencies while blind folded. You’re fired. Wait come back. No yes fired. Write what you did in the last 5 days. No don’t. Look! Gulf of America!
Time isn’t real. It can be anything you want it to be. If you don’t like the way it is and you need to keep track of time, switch your clocks to UTC. You’ll be synced to all the computer networks. Or go outside and see how light or dark it is. Put a stick in the ground and watch the shadow. Move to Arizona. There are any number of solutions to this problem that’ll involve more effort and inconvenience than just rolling one number on your clock up or down.
Is gas under $2/gal yet like Trump promised he would do before the election? This question has nothing to do with Biden and only with the actual words that Trump said when Trump made the promise.
It’s a yes or no question. I have to explain the type of question it is because some people don’t understand the word YET. And the only answer that is required to a yes or no question is “Yes” or “No.”
Stantis other opus for today harks back to the WW2 internment order signed by FDR. While this action may be one of the worst FDR took during his tenure, and for which there may be scant justification, Stantis also over-simplifies the case — also with scant justification. From the time of the Transcontinental Railroad onward the US had a powerful prejudice against orientals, it was even unlawful for them to immigrate. In addition to this fact (as well as a substantial prejudice against Jews, which no doubt resulted in many preventable deaths) the attack on Pearl Harbor intensified this anti-oriental prejudice. FDR probably recognized his ordered internment as being legally indefensible and morally challenged, but he was a political creature and thereby catered to popular opinion (and prejudice in this case).
It’s possible that Stantis intended that other cartoon to be an indirect criticism of Trump’s anti-immigration policy and actions since J20, and the level of the MAGA folks prejudice against most all foreigners.

Stantis’ editorial cartoon is yet another Those Guys Did it Too, both sides effort.
Edging into full magat.

Stantis again zeroes in on the most pressing issues of the day.
Who knew it was Daylight Saving Time?
.
The magats certainly think DST is the primary issue. They still don’t know what a tariff is.

Amazing and sudden how many on the left are concerned with how taxes are spent

If the country is 50/50 on it, adjust it a half hour and leave it there.

Go figure. Now our current President has lost interest in ending the bi-yearly time change, when he had supported the idea earlier on.

None of this looks like competence.

Carmen is right. Generally Congress only acts on things people don’t like/want if they act at all.
drivingfuriously Premium Member about 17 hours ago
Call or e-mail your congressman and senators. They need to write a bill eliminating DST. Then, Trump can sign it into law.

Wait a second. Aren’t these guys in Arizona where they don’t keep daylight savings time (unless you’re on an Indian reservation)?

Here’s a novel idea: If you can’t handle"losing" an hour one Sunday a year, go to bed early the Saturday before.

We had ‘permanent’ Daylight Savings Time in 1974. It was repealed a tear later. Americans didn’t want it year around.
