   I’m pretty sure he’s talking about sessions as in what he reads in a day, made up of a few sets. He’s not finding reading so much effort that it takes him several months to read a book, but he honestly thinks it’s reasonable to take a few minutes’ break several times per reading session.

   “Real” soap I can just about understand from a kid. “Soft” is not an appropriate description for liquid soap, though.

   I’m not sure why Mr. Bell didn’t answer this point. Lemont is in his thirties. He often gives his age as “mumblety” something, but it’s occasionally made clear that thirty is the age he’s embarrassed about passing. (For example, he once remarked on what Christ had achieved by his age.)

   As for whether he ages in real time, I wouldn’t like to comment.

   What makes this comic implausible is that he isn’t claiming it. He both says “we’re going to have to” followed by “whether he needs to or not” and adopts the extended version of the “cut the fat” metaphor that left-wingers use to criticise the approach.

   It’s a shame when Messrs. Bell and Heir cross the line from clever satire into strawman arguments.

   Where do you get the idea his advice is worthless? It’s far less valuable than that.

   I was wondering that because of the “especially in men” line, but the term HRT refers to treatment for women as I understand it. Confusing.

   Is Lemont actually right? Although the last offer does sound desperate, I would have suspected an attempt to close the blog down as a competitor, rather than confidence that it would grow profits.

   It’s not that bad. He is not a professional basketball player. She’s saying “off the bottom of the scale”. Bub may enjoy playing basketball, but he wouldn’t claim to deserve to be paid for doing so. The question is, is the same true of Alex’s writing?
