This last week or so seems Like padding. ZzzzI suppose it is meant to show Bernice, the dull nit picker in contrast to when she falls head over heels for someone.
I agree that the event did not warrant the buildup — at least so far.Didn’t they meet any boys?Isn’t the drinking age in New York still 18?I thought that getting 86 d from the club was implausible. Finally, plenty of exotic foods, Korean and other, in Southern Cal.Interesting that they did Ecstasy, however.
The whole warehouse fantasy, straight out of Mickey Rooney as Andy Hardy is terribly lame.Hard to believe a carroonist never took an art class, but that whole plot was lame. I never studied theater, but that whole angle seems totally contrived. And the idea of charging rent to a professional who is lending you a hand makes no sense. The authors have good characters and a good setting that is being squandered on lame story lines.
I think this suspense-building is clumsy. Quil would have offered to show, or Luann would have requested to be shown a picture of Prudence. He can’t be oblivious to her being anxious about his attachment to another girl or woman, and he’d be cruel not to allay her concern. And even Luann is not enough of a laydown not to make her feelings known. As I say, a lame telling of what might be an interesting plot twist.
Oregon Mouseworks, I am in Neskowin on the Oregon coast for a few days. When I said Oregon, I was shorthand referring to you. Usually I am in southern Arizona.
If the insurance adjuster knows the guy who wanted the corn dog or the kid who wanted popcorn, heard TJ’s complaint about hating his business, he or she might call in ATF, and pursue arson charges.
What is going on here? Luann is suddenly right handed? Say it ain’t so.
