As a kid in the 60s, I couldn’t wait for The Future of the 21st Century that we were told to expect: moon colonies, orbital hotels, space tourism, personal robots, and of course, flying cars.
Now that I’m middle aged and its the second decade of the 21st century, out of all that, we have…space tourism, IF you have a quarter million dollars to spare.
Wait, are those Zorches?! No wonder they’ve got a grudge against Spaceman Spiff, if they used Calvin’s math for science and navigation! (Note the monitor: 2+7 = 15, and 9+6=50…)
Yeah, the Hamlet soliloquy is my all time, #1 favorite C&H! The very first time I read it, I laughed until I wept… and for the next several days, kept bursting out into laughter whenever I’d even think about it. :D
