In my book, if you get called out for using a lame pickup line, own it and double down. Reply with, “No, it’s not that, it’s just that you’re so pretty and I never know what to say when a pretty girl is around.” Or an alternative version: “I get all tongue-tied around a pretty girl, but I sense that together we can lick that problem.”
