I remember a couple of abandoned houses that some friends of mine had found when we were kids , and over the course of a summer we committed trespass and explored them pretty often
One was a wreck, both were spooky in their own way
We told ourselves they were haunted because it was more fun that way
The GPS is one of the most useful devices to come out of our modern electronic age, but I’ve often preached that you shouldn’t give up your brain to it. Mine has never tried to guide me to a haunted house, but on more than one occasion it has tried to get me to turn the wrong way onto a one-way street, or to make a turn that would put me on a nonexistent road and into the water.

I love the GEICO commercial. “Let’s hide behind the chainsaws”. The whiny blonde is great.

Yep. And it says there are chain saws involved. What’s not to like?

This time of year’s form of geocaching. If I squint I see “mother” in the upstairs window.

Why not go in there? What could possibly go wrong?
