I was going to ask, what went off over people’s heads before the invention of the light bulb?

Now, it takes very little energy to light that bulb.

Edison didn’t invent the lightbulb. He just stole credit for it.

Whenever I have an idea, one of those little keychain flashlights appear over my head. It doesn’t bother me though, because it used to be a clown horn. So I guess things are lookin’ brighter!

“If you want to have a good idea. Have a lot of them.” ~Edison? So it would be easy to imagine him being a bit scatter-brained.

The truth of the matter is that Edison didn’t invent many of those things that he’s credited for, He stole many of those ideas from other brilliant geniuses of those times (Just ask Nicola Tesla) I despise that guy Edison !

Gutenberg didn’t invent the printing press/movable type. It was known in China for centuries previously; Europe wasn’t ready for it yet.

Thomas Edison had a certain cleverness, but most of his success was due to ruthlessness (and taking credit for the work of the large staff he had working for him).

You want a true inventive genius, you’re looking for Nikola Tesla (not to be confused with the car company that appropriated his name).
