I always thought that Labor Day should be the only day that we had to work.

I decided to defer my list to Memorial Day.

“So, you want me get mine done so I can then help you with yours? That’s not sweetening the deal.”

Cat’s claws only need trimming when they are so old and infirm they cannot keep them in good condition by scratching their “scratchy-post”.

He’s not an eager beaver.

A manager at work asked if I had plans for Labor Day. I told him I would be at work laboring with all of the other people they can’t do without.

To-do list, or suicide note?

Too bad he doesn’t live here in Miami. It’s been raining all day today. At least 4 of those things on his list would’ve been set aside for another day.
