Coincidentally, one was delivered to my house just yesterday. They used to be about two inches thick in this area. This one was more like 1/2 inch.

If you want to feel old, try to explain to a young person how a record works. I recently had a surreal conversation with a 19 year old about turntables, needles (for the record player), and how the grooves on a record are “read” by the needle to create sound. I’m not sure she understood anything I said.

Give them an old rotary phone and see if they know how to call someone.

Ask for a phone book and you’ll probably get an electronics store catalog.

Remember when you could look up someone’s name and find their phone number and address, for free?
