We once grew a bunch of tomatoes to make our own tomato sauce (She’s of Italian extraction; we use a lot of tomato sauce).
After blanching & peeling the maters, we put the first batch in the blender to liquefy. The stuff was still really hot. The blender had a glass pitcher – which was not really hot.
