The morning after the Fourth of July is when I scour the neighborhood, picking up the charred and twisted remains of the previous night's pyrotechnics. Wow. I didn't know you were so civic minded when it came to litter. Huh?? No, I like to make stuff out of this.
We would search for “dud” firecrackers, break them in half and light them as a blowtorch. Great for melting toy soldiers!
