Rover: Whatcha watching? Red: Public Television pledge drive. Rover: How much money have they raised? Red: Money?!? I thought it had to do with joining some super secret club- the people manning the phones seem to be whispering into them.
In spite of both pledge drives, and the “brought to you by” intros, they have less total commercial time than the stations which interrupt the flow of the program to try to sell you something you neither want nor need.
