Poor Rover knows it’s easier to patch up pants than to patch up Red!

Hope those pants weren’t new. Seeing as how people dress now, he’d fit right in.

Sometimes the body is hurt and wounded, clothes cover it and you don’t see and recognize it!!

Hope your leg heals quickly, Red.

My jeans got holes in the knee often. There is no way I am ever going to pay extra for someone else to put holes in my jeans!

It might hurt a little more when Mom and Dad see those pants.

Rover knows that. He has fur, after all!

Awwww . .. that’s so sweet!

Where are those fancy new school clothes Mom bought him?

Unless you wear those same jeans for a week!

Mostly new school clothes are for the first week of school. Then they are kept for “best” events like picture day etc. then they are slowly integrated into the regular school wardrobe. It’s a process.

My 8-month-old pup looks at me really strange when I remove my clothes. Now I know why!

I thought those blue jeans were too thick to tear like that.

I remember new blue jeans being so stiff you could hardly walk in them until they’d been washed a few times. I hated them! Made it very hard to play when you had them on.

Rover, if you’re confused by the answer to a yes-or-no question, then why’d you ask?

Also, Rover’s seen Red in the bathtub. Did he think that removable “parts” still feel pain?
