Love the way our guys share things. I used to read comics all the time when I was a kid. It helped me to practice reading. My grandfather would give me a dime almost every day in the Summer and I would go in my bike down to the local liquor store where they had a display of comics and buy one. For 25 cents I got a comic classic!
When I was VERY little we lived for a short time in a townhouse in Denver. Our most frequent visitors were a Scottie from next door who would sashay in every now and then. He nipped me once, making me cry, just as my father was getting home from work. He asked my mother what was wrong and she said I’d pulled the Scottie’s tail (which was true; I didn’t know he’d take umbrage) and I was OK. I swear that little dog came over to me and apologized for all he was worth. And we had a Dalmation from a little bit further up the row who came to visit and would sit and “read” the funnies with my brother. Different times. Gentler times…

It’s certainly not the night-stand lamp. That’s been there since before I was born about three generations ago.

What paper is Red reading? I haven’t seen a newspaper with 2 full pages of comics in decades.
