It’s safer that way, Red! Living vicariously is sometimes the best way to go! Thank goodness for books, TV, movies and a young boy and his dog’s imagination!
That might make a fun Youtube channel. “For today’s extra content, ve have this alien creature. He looks all cute and harmless, but he is extremely dangerous and can ATtack at any time and so ve must deal with him.”
In Cleveland in the mid-60s we had “Shock Theater” on Friday nights. It featured low-budget SciFi and horror movies and goofy skits by the host, “Ghoulardi,” a fictional character created and played by Ernie Anderson, a voice announcer and actor. There’s a ton of information about Anderson and the show on YouTube, and there’s even a GhoulardiFest every year.

Lost one in a nearby cornfield. Another red/white rocket went up perfectly on hazy day. Never saw come down, lost it in the haze.

I used to have rockets like that. It involved a lot of running. And the a lot of fixing the damaged rocket before re-use.

Maybe in the newer 1988 version but the composer in the original release back in 1958 was Ralph Carmichael.

Not sure he should messing with something with that high an acceleration. Most toy rockets won’t squash play-dough.
