When I visited a friend and het basset pup, soon as I sat down on the couch, the pup put his paws in my lap and his tongue on my face.

Fifty plus years ago letting dogs and cats lick was an absolute no no for health reasons!

These days, you have to be careful answering the door!

So Rover wanted out just so he could make a house call to his own home? I remember a movie and TV show called House Calls. It was a romantic comedy about two doctors – an American and an Englishwoman.

Hope he has done his business!!

Call boys are not wanted!!
