In 2010- 5 year old Khalid of Homs, Syria, asked his 3 -year-old friend Hala to marry him and scheduled their wedding for 2020! During the 1915 World War I battle of Loos- members of the 1st London Irish Rifles Battalion kicked a soccer ball forward during a charge on German positions in an attempt to score on the enemy trench! Jim Eggers of St. Louis, MO, USA, has a parrot as a service animal that he carries around in a backpack cage Sadie the parrot's job is to calm Jim's anger fits!

Well, on the bright side, Khalid and Hala have nine years to save their money and plan the wedding.

That should be a good show for 20/20. By 2020 he’ll be 15 and she’ll be 13. There’s no use rushing into anything.

I think Ripley’s has run out of interesting trivia to print. Of all the banal drivel.Who cares about a couple of kids that pledged to get married as adults? That would be a good name for the strip: Ripley’s Believe it or Who Cares?

Did some research and the thing is, they took some enemy positions, the London Irish Rifles preserved the soccer ball to this day and the man Sgt. Frank Edwards survived the war and lived to 1964.

It must be all this junk food they feed kids these days! Remember when little boys couldn’t stand little girls? They thought love and romance was “sissy stuff”.

13 and 15 is still too young to get married. They should postpone their wedding until 2030
